How we spent New Year´s Eve...

It all started last year with an oath to myself. I want to spent more time doing things that I love but didn´t have time. After long time thinking about place where we should go, decision was made.

Start of our great adventure. Perfect people and fun is just what you need really. (Little Fatra, Slovakia)

Weather like from fairytale and sky full of stars. When I compare this place with other mountain areas, there is less light pollution and thanks to that conditions are more suitable for stars observation.

Winter is not best time for taking photographs of stars but still pretty good view. (Velky Rozsutec, Slovakia)

After an hour we really had to start our final ascend to the summit and to even more impressive views. Gradient was really steep, combination of wind and ice crust made it a little bit challenging for some of us.

Happy as a hippo, I started search for shelter from wind where we could lie down. After few minutes of work we had our places prepared.

Now all what we could do was to wait. Luckily tea was ready, something to warm us up while we had been counting minutes till midnight.

New Year´s Day celebration are in full swing. (Velky Rozsutec, Slovakia)

With a clean conscience I can say that this was my best celebration ever. I wish to you all to have a nice and productive New Year 2017.
