… la plupart d’entre eux n’avaient pas demandé à partir faire la guerre…

Ils habitaient une colonie et leurs grands parents étaient esclaves …
They lived in a colony and their grandparents were slaves…

En cette période, ayons une pensée pour eux…

Aujourd'hui encore nombre d'hommes de ce pays exposent des enfants à la mort violente juste pour des questions obscure d'égo ou de suivisme. A quoi ça sert ?

Today still number of men of this country exposes children to the violent death just for questions dark of égo or of blind conformity. To what that is of use ?

...et beaucoup d'entre eux sont morts dans et pour un pays dans lequel ils n'étaient jamais allés auparavant !! dans les écrits historiques, on lit qu'"on" leur disait "qu'ils avaient une dette de sang envers la mère patrie" !!!
