So, for those that don't know Nepal is located in South Asia and borders with China and India. It is home to the Himalaya mountain range and of course Mount Everest ( the worlds tallest mountain on land). It's a predominantly Hindu country meaning there is no lack of culture anywhere you go! With stunning scenery and amazing people, this was a trip of a life time!

On October 3rd 2016, myself and 4 others set out on a missions trip to Nepal. Our church has two members doing missionary work out in Kathmandu ( Bagmati ) and it was time for a well over due reunion.  The journey started off in Belfast in which we travelled to London, Doha and then finally Kathmandu. Now as airports go, this was the craziest airport I've ever been to! Everyone was arriving back home to Nepal for  Dashain दशैँ which is a 15 day long Hindu festival. The Nepalese return to their home villages and towns with gifts and when I say gifts, almost every single Nepalese man in that airport had a 32" flat screen TV.  After a 3 hour wait of pushing and shoving, we finally reclaimed our luggage and eventually navigated our way to the car park where we crammed ourselves into a mini bus and later on arriving safely at our guest house.
