Tourist in Your Own City

I am very fotunate to live where I do. I am close to a beautiful city rich in history but I don't often get into it to enjoy it. My uncle came up with my cousin so we headed in to be tourists for the day. One of the things we did was go on a duck boat tour and it was a lot of fun. It also helped me to realize how amazing this city is and I can't wait to explore it more as my children get older.

This giant tea kettle was manufactured in 1873 for the Oriental Tea Company. It still hangs in Boston today with the steam coming out of it. I learned that a contest in 1875 determined that is holds 227 gallons, 2 quarts, 1 pint and 3 gills!

Boston
It looks cool and it is even neater in the winter in the cold temps.
