February 20, 2017 - Geeking out

My main camera set up, a Nikon D750 on a tripod with a remote trigger in the hot shoe.

Nikon D5000; 1/80sec at f/1.8, ISO 200 50mm *shot in jpeg

Picked up my remote shutter this afternoon, had to test all the different shooting methods it offers. I'm excited to use it in combination with my 10-stop neutral density filter! While playing around with it on my D750, I grabbed the old Nikon D5000 and snapped this photo to share here. Even though I was shooting manual I forgot to ensure I was shooting raw as well and ended up capturing this in jpeg format. A good reminder to always check you settings because this could have easily been a real photo shoot when this happened.
