Tried my hand at astrophotography with my good friend Michael this night. I definitely learned a lot in a short amount of time. The next new moon I'll be in Hawaii so I'm going to try again. Hopefully there will be less light pollution on the big island.

Cool! That's what is great about the 365-project - having the opportunity to experiment and take chances. Great image - will look forward to seeing your images from Hawaii next month!

Absolutely gorgeous!  Not only are the stars beautiful, but I love how the light is coming from the ground and behind the tanks.
