A disclaimer about this particular set of photos. I realised once I got to the trail that I had in fact only packed my 50mm prime lens... so I had to make do with what I had. Not ideal, but I feel I made the best of a less than great situation.

I have always been a huge fan of trees. I have a tree wall in my house comprising of photos I have taken of trees. There's just something about the shape and colours of trees that really resonates with me. Even in the winter, when they are bleak and bare, they have such beauty. I love that transformation from lush green, to yellow and red, and finally nothing. The same tree looks so different in each season.

I can't miss an opportunity to take photos of some trees

At first I wasn't sure I was going to keep this photo. I was too close to get the focus just right, but with a slight hint of editing, I feel it's almost dreamlike now. I quite like it now.

Spring is a amazing season. Unlike lively strong greens, those light greens of spring is just lovely. I enjoyed them in your pictures very much. Thank you for sharing. smile
