The only conspiracy theory I subscribe goes like this:

You know that irritating band of vaguely Amerindian pan-pipe-playing idiots annoying Saturday shoppers in every major city with badly syncopated World music? Well, they are all one and the same band! I don't know whether they're cloned or in some mysterious space/time continuum loop, but I swear I've seen - and unfortunately, heard - this bloke in Athens, in York, in New York, in Boston, in Lisbon, in Berlin, in Florence, Lausanne, Lyon and Marseille, right down to the made-in-China, genuine Apache headdress...
