These were taken along the famous Seawall in Georgetown, Guyana. Georgetown, the capital of Guyana lies below sea level, construction of the Seawall started in 1855.

Guyana has no well-defined shoreline or sandy beaches. The coast is made up largely of alluvial mud swept out to sea by the tributaries of the Amazon River.
