By the Malacca river, part deux

Some time during the 1400s, this part of the Malacca river was a vast, cosmopolitan trading center. This river mouth was where everything started.

The river mouth which heads towards the Straits of Malacca.

Replica of the Flor de La Mar.
A Portuguese ship that sank off the coast of Melaka while on its way to Portugal, carrying loot plundered from Melaka.
