So, I've been doing this alphabet thing on Photoblog, where I title posts according to the alphabet (A for Antiquity, B for Blink, C for Christmas etc.). It's been fun, because it forces you to think outside the box for themes, but it stops being fun at X...short of xylophone, I'm really drawing a blank here.
So...Google to the rescue :)
A xerophyte is a plant that can live in environments with little water. Starring in this post are my cacti. Even though I hadn't ever heard of the word before, I realised I'm a big fan of xerophytes, for I'm the type of person that just forgets to water her plants. My house is an environment with little water :D
I give you: xerophytes.
