Southern Hawker - Aeshna cyanea (Muller)

A female Palmate newt (I think) - taken at Little Wake Valley East pond.

Dragonfly Nymph

Grey Heron - Ardea cinerea - taken at Strawberry Hill Pond

Bulrush - Typha latifolia - taken at Hollow Pond, Leyton Flats

Large Red Damselfly - Pyrrhosoma nymphula (Sulzer)

This dragonfly was captured at little monk wood.

Large Skipper - Ochlodes venatus - taken in little monk wood

Looking fly :^)

Palmate Newt - Triturus helvetica

Taken at Hollow Pond Leyton Flats, I went to this pond because marsh frogs have been spotted here recently, I didn't see any but I was amazed to see a muntjac deer cross a busy road in the east end of London.

      WOW Mossy, you have been looking about. Great finds with fantastic shots. I've never seen dragonflies coming out of the pond like #3 and #13, well spotted.
