Day 1 in Chamonix

Let's just put it this way: we got there. We arrived, but a bit late. I don't want to point fingers… in the mirror. A grandiose meal was had at the local, hotel restaurant which is where the half-eaten cheese wheel came from.

Dad was up before dawn like a damn rooster, just waiting for the right moment to wake up the neighborhood. Anyhow, the skiing was nice. Definitely the easiest place we skied around Chamonix. Vallorcine was the name.
