Your downtown picture could easily be Springfield, downtown and the red door is identical to a red door we have here belonging to the church that Abe Lincoln used to attend.. smile

Cool! It is an episcopal church I believe,, you must be in Illinois,, we have several Lincoln sites here in Ky , I have a friend that is from champagne Illinois that has very strong feelings about towns’s  claim to fame regarding Lincoln ,, we have a Springfield here with Lincoln connections I believe with Lincoln’s brother? This is giving me a goal to travel go each site and educate myself 👍

There is no shortage of Lincoln sites here in Springfield, IL. Once this stage of our lives settles into some normalcy, you must travel to Springfield. I will show you the hot spots 😁
