DineLA Restaurant Week: Cafe Pinot

Return to an old favorite, a lunchtime escape to Cafe Pinot with good friend and co-worker Grace.

Grace and I both started with the Tuna tonnato: Sliced ahi tuna, lemon oil, capers, celery leaves, tuna aïoli

my second course: Flat iron steak - Vadouvan goat cheese mousse, candied Moroccan olives, pomegranate red wine sauce

Grace's second course: Japanese Hokkaido scallops - Garlic velouté, button mushrooms

We split two dessert choices: Crème fraîche panna cotta - Vanilla panna cotta, salted caramel, crab apples

Red currant brioche bread pudding with Vanilla whipped crème fraîche
