My mother collected angels, and when she passed away (4 years ago this month), she had hundreds of them. This angel was given to me by a friend in Bulgaria and is one of the very few (aside from Christmas ornaments) that I own. An angel of any type, however, always reminds me of my mom, and makes me feel closer to her.
