Today on a whim, Ross, Laura and I decided to explore a little used BLM road just outside of Hudson. We traveled 10 or 12 miles in search of the elusive “hoodoos” that are rumored to be in the area, but unfortunately, we were unsuccessful in finding them. We did, however, see some amazing country, and of course did not see another soul the entire time.
The blue in the distance of the photo is not water, it's sagebrush (not sure why it appears blue)!

OMG, what a fabulous landscape shot. Wow! This is what I love about high desert country. Beautiful!!
