Nature....And Human Threat!!!

am I not cute?

am I not cute?

Standing there feeling my presence, might be trying to figure out "what the hell is this man doing there, what is that tiny thing hanging around his neck, why he is using that thing to watch me and for what reason he is so happy, what that huge smile is for? am I that cute, for sure I am" . He was there for a while like that only, bewildered and curious for the same time and then he turned and vanished with his princess, he might had got his answers and once again I might had proved myself as an Idiot to the Nature.

It happens with me, whenever I use to be amid nature and near by its beautiful creatures, I just feel amazed and a smile automatically spread over my face, I just become a foolish lover of its exquisiteness. Sometimes I wonder how someone could have such a hard heart that they doesn't hesitate to shoot or spear these lovely animals, how someone can be so harsh so brutal that they trade these lives like they are earthen pots-lifeless. These thoughts make me anxious, restless, I feel helpless that why I can't do anything to save them, The truth is somehow I am also the reason behind their killings as I also use the things made up of their organs, its my needs which have increased the demands of products made up somehow of animal skin and other organs and I am the very reason for their killings and abuse. I have destroyed their habitat for the shake of my comfort, I have snatched their liberty for the purpose of my entertainment.

We humans are pushing our planet to the brink. Human activity—how we feed, fuel, and finance our lives—is taking an unprecedented toll on wildlife, wild places, and the natural resources we need to survive.

As per the WWF's Living Planet Report 2018- On average, we’ve seen an astonishing 60% decline in the size of populations of mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians in just over 40 years,The top threats to species identified in the report link directly to human activities, including habitat loss and degradation and the excessive use of wildlife such as over fishing and over hunting.

Its not Global Warming or Solar tsunami which is going to destroy this home of ours but We Humans and the question is- Is this really our desiderata ?
