Brittany is in the west of France, bordered by the English Channel to the north, Normandy to the northeast, Pays de la Loire to the southeast, the Bay of Biscay to the south, and the Celtic Sea and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.
These are not recent photos and I have shot them end March - before COVID-19. The winds were bitingly cold and I remembered trying as much as possible to walk in the sunshine!
The photos are presented in the art of diptych. I have read an article about it and was intrigued by the style - one image file with 2 photos. They could be closely associated images or different theme images but there is always a similar undercurrent that ties the 2 photos together.
The overall presentation below looks slightly raw and rather amateurish as the photos were meant for an individual shot and I was then ignorant of the diptych presentation style. I will need to practice more. It was however challenging and enjoyable to pair up the photos.
I hope you enjoy them and do feel free to leave your comments as it would really be very interesting to read/see your viewpoints and of course, selfishly so that I am able to improve. Thanks for reading.
The above photos is 'La Plage de Bon Secours' in St Malo. It is a seawater swimming pool with a diving board and it is submerged at high tide.
