Taking in both Björn and Craig's great comments and observation, another landscape photo ...

So, what do you think of it?

This is a nice photo, Nancy. In my humble opinion, I would prefer a bit more natural brightness and a more vivid blue sky because to me, that's a more natural mood for this image. The clouds are amazing, and the branches, leaves, flowers, ... everything has so much to contribute to a bright, cheery, uplifting scene. Darkening and muting it takes it in the opposite direction. All I am saying is, I would prefer to enhance the natural mood rather than create an unnatural mood based on the image. Just my two cents. 🙂

Thank you so much for taking your time to share your thoughts, Benny! You are right that I have muted the colors a little as I was afraid that it might be too aggressive - bright sky and bright flower. I might have tone the colors a tad too much when I viewed the photo again. Great tips and will bear that in mind for the next landscape photo. Once again, I really appreciate your comment!!

I think it is wonderful and kind of daring, to use the tree as a canvas for your landscape. A wonderful and colorful canvas!

Very good execution of the suggestions - a striking foreground and enough interest in the background to make me want to see more. It also has a sort of vintage feel to it - was that the shot or the processing? In either case, I like it.

Thank you, John. I think the vintage feel was because I added a soft glow to the photo.
