Before Covid-19, I was in Montreal, Canada on a short trip. The shots are rather "touristy" shots (in my opinion) however, I did managed to shoot a couple of panoramic photos. As I didn't take sufficient photos to create a decent size and during post processing, one thing lead to another and I finally ended with "postcard-like" photos ...
Sorry about the small size of the photo above. It was one of the panoramic photos that was huge! The vue from Mont Royal Chalet
Above photo, looking at Le Pont Jacques-Cartier on the right
Oops! I can't recall where the above photo was taken ... However on the extreme left, you see a sort of a brown "hump", I think it could be the wooden roller coaster "Le Monstre"
Above photo, the Biosphere, an Environment Museum
Montreal Olympic Park. Shot this view in the huge elevator cabin and at certain times, the ride was slightly bumpy so my camera shook and the photo was a little blurry
I really like this sculpture, right and left view of The Illuminated Crowd by Raymond Mason.
I was completely swept off my feet when I entered The Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal!! It was magnifique and the colors .... everything was just 'WOW'!! I did not have a tripod and I wished I could do better than the above photo but in all honestly, I wouldn't really know what or how to shoot except to admire the church. Just a friendly note: It is very very very very crowded and there are many tour groups, etc ....
The above and bottom view of the altar.
I hope to re-visit Montreal for a longer stay. I was very delighted with my short stay there!
