Hiruzen Bible Camp

Went to Hiruzen (name of a mountain) Bible Camp to be a leader. The kids were from first to sixth grade and it was from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. I never realized how early little kids get up in the morning… (about 5:30AM). They go to bed relatively early, but all of the leaders stay up an extra few hours to have a meeting about the next day's plans. Events included a bicycle trip, an activity day where we gave the kids maps with the locations of different event stations, and a craft day. In between was worship time where we would have skits, a message from the bible, and songs. The camp was really fun, and it was great being called Ryan-sensei by all of the kids ^.^

Yuto-kun on the bike trip. Just rode by him and said “cheese!” Haha.

Scenery from the bike ride.

All the kids gathering for a group photo.

Bus ride to where we had the event day.

My station was a blindfold obstacle course where one partner was blind folded and the other was the guide.

Kataoka-sensei was the person who helped me with this stage.

Craft day. Sculpture station.

Kataoka-sensei… dead tired. haha.
(we all were)

Station where the kids made those hand helicopter things.

Boomerang station.

Waiting for food mmmmmm….

The kids who sat at the same table as me.
