...

I went to Symbio Wildlife Park and I have not stopped smiling since. I got to feed kangaroos, see koalas, and see my favorite monkey ever - the pygmy marmoset (do yourself a favor and google a picture of them!!). I got to experience the most amazing situation.. A mother kangaroo had just given birth a month prior and the joey fell out of her pouch. My friend and I noticed it was unnatural and something was wrong and notified the zookeeper - long story short we saved the baby kangaroos life. I took a picture of the mother with the baby (seen below). Most of the pictures I am posting are all about the kangaroos however, Symbio had many other amazing animals to look at. After the zoo I was able to see the Sea Cliff Bridge. We stopped and had a great lunch before I had to go to class at uni. Huge thanks to my Australian friend Melisa for making all of this possible as she drove Sierra and I to the zoo and everywhere after. Enjoy!!

I did not feed this little guy properly and he did nibble my finger but it was the best day ever!

The cutest little guys

Kangaroo Jack

Fun Fact: kangaroos love being scratched between the ears AND they are sooo soft

I'm a biology nerd and think this picture is amazing - Joey out of his mother's pouch

If I were a koala - this would be me
