St. Ignatius Mission-Montana

This is a beautiful old mission founded in 1894.The priests were asked to come build a mission. One of the priests was a cook and he painted these glorious paintings and stained glass on all the walls and ceiling. The cabin was their first home.

When you donate a coin in the box a candle lights up for you to say a prayer.

There were several paintings of Indians.
