We Had A Tornado In North Louisiana!

We've had a few tornadoes in North Louisiana but never one this close to my house in the 16 years we've lived here!

Started raining pretty hard..

I was on the back porch and saw the rain coming, heard a roar like a train and knew there was no train back there!

A big cedar tree was leaning over the neighbor's mobile home, Don winched it up and held it until they got someone to get it down. Back yard, he and neighbor discussing the plan.

Along our fence line to neighbor's shop, took out 26 trees

They were pretty big, some huge oaks.

Two down across our fence in the pasture where horses are kept.

Neighbor's 3 horse sheds and horses were untouched.

Sky after the tornado went through.

Wow, this was too close! Where did you hide when the tornado went through? No basements or shelters down there, either, I presume. (Neither here, which makes me always very nervous when a storm goes through here.)
