Louisiana Black Bayou Lake Scenes

New spring leaves

Louisiana wetlands provide housing for numerous birds and wildlife. Some people think all of La. is like this but only in certain areas..we have beautiful trees and hills too..

School children touring the lake

Several people fishing..just little ones biting so far..I told him I was putting his picture on the internet..he had said “I hope you are not putting this on tv”..

Cypress trees..make the fishin good..

Spanish moss still lives on this dead one..

Enlarge to see two turtles..

Typical Louisiana bayou scene

Enlarge to see the bird

Several huge oak trees where there was a cotton plantation

Guys taken advantage of the shade to fix up their fishing poles..

#11's composition is awesome! The eyes are led vertically and around the picture. You pointed out the bird, but I keep focusing on the female-silhouette-like moss (or ?) above it on the right. *Chortle* (^_^)b

Love that you stumbled upon kawaii turtles on #9! They'll stand out even more if you use a photo editor to change the pic into B&W and leave them as the only coloured ones. (^_^)b

Interesting, especially 7, 8 and 10. We have nothing similar to this, making them very interesting.
