Photography makes me happy. I love to capture nature's beauty and smiles of family. "Record the moment" and share is what I think photography is and love about it.
These popped up in one area after we got a lot of rain..
What is the name of these?
A nice group of them..
Look at this! This is the one I posted weeks ago, it's growing and taking in leaves and flower stems..anything in its way!
Big and bad…
What is this fungus…It may take over the world :-)) Should I destroy it or see what it does?

Don't destroy it! You could inadvertantly kill the fungus fairies. lolGreat set Sara!

What a wonderful series !!!
Fungus strike again. You made them appear like monsters destroying all that appears in its path. Very good.

Wonderful set,very nice~!~
they seem to be honey fungus :))they are normal..they don't do anything special :) you can let them there, or simply ignore them... never eat them ;)
WOW!! Never thought fungus would look so cool! Great shots, close ups and rain drops!
Hahahha maybe!! Fungus can be dangerous!!Great shoots though and I have no idea what they are
Great details, colors, textures and fantastic series!
They reminds me a Gymnopilus, but it's difficult to be certain. This type has a particular smell and taste (But don't try it!). Mushrooms (and fungi in general) musn't be destroyed because they enrich the soil. If you find some that can be eaten, you must cut it for the foot. This way you spread the spores and the rhizoma remains into the soil...And I suppose that you will want to see them next season! :))
see what it does and make pictures.
They are not ceps nor chanterelles. Of it I'm sure, but what is it ? Mystery.Incredible vegetables
great shot but i hate mushrooms can`t eat them.....
