Theodore Roosevelt National Park ~ N. Dakota Part 1

by Sara G June. 12, 2013 5156 views

This beautiful national park is about 1 hour travel north from our campground. Perfect day to view these gorgeous formations and flowers.

Spotted several Bison pretty close to the beginning of our drive through the 16 mile park..

Amazing shapes and colors..the lower ones are called “slumps” because they have slid down from the other higher ones..

Many pretty wildflowers growing everywhere

The Missouri River flows through it..

A replica of first cabins in the area..
