World Palomino Horse Show in Tunica, Mississippi ~ Part 1

by Sara G July. 21, 2014 3845 views

Daughter Kristy, mother of Brittany, came from Pensacola, Florida and met me in Jackson, MS. Stayed Friday and Saturday enjoying all the classes of participation in the World Palomino Horse Show in Tunica. Tunica has several casinos, fields of cotton, corn, other agriculture. It it Native American country..wonderful golf course and hotels. We enjoyed the spa too:-)

Waiting for judging

This lady and her horse won in a lot of classes..

They all had some kind of tail extension..

This is the correct head aligned with body position for showing

So many beautiful ones in different classes of performance.

The mane cut (I suppose) is so uncommon as the tail extension for me ...
Nice photos of beautiful horses .

Tail extensions sound a bit extreme, palomino horses are quite spectacular. I am glad you had a great time

That sounds like a fun time! Beautiful horses! Those tails are a bit much...it seems odd that they would (or could) add on hair!
