Thanks! I hope they are larger this year. Pretty small but tasty. I leave a lot for the squirrels and birds.

Do you harvest them & shuck them yourself! I can remember, as a child, joining my sister & parents, sitting around the family room, processing the tons of pecans our trees provided for us!

When they break open and fall to the ground we pick them up..usually some are still a bit "green" before dry and ready to eat.

We used to get black fingers, from the green husks, as I recall

It would help make better filled out pecans some...when they dry out some and fall to the ground...they break open the shell and we can just pick up the pecans.
