Red Shouldered Hawk Visit

by Sara G January. 01, 2017 1173 views

Looked out my kitchen window this rainy, dreary morning..was so surprised and excited to see this hawk sitting on fence..grabbed my camera and he had moved to the big tree outside of the fence.  Pretty visitor on New Year's Day, 2017!

Red Shouldered Hawk

Head turned backward.

Turned his head all around to his back.

Thank you very much..he was in a big tree about 75 yards away. I was delighted to get shots this good, would have liked better but best I could do with this Canon Rebel T2i.

That's a real change if we compare with the humming birds in summer .
Best wishes to you and all around for this New Year .

That's my thought when I first saw him..about 100 feet from my window.
