I was invited to a banquet to have dinner with Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. She is in Washington DC to meet with Barack Obama tomorrow morning. President Arroyo just got off the flight from the Philippines and she is a trooper for having to meet with everyone at the party. It was nice to also see old family friends from the Zambalenos and also meet the current president of that organization. I also reunited with my former “mother” (my old best friend's mom) who was Miss Philippines when I was young. Interesting night and well worth it. Thank you to my Uncle Henry for the invite. I truly enjoyed it.

Photo 1: Intercontinental Hotel Lobby Entrance. Very Beautiful Ceiling where all the states of the US have a circle with an identifiable emblem.

Photo 2: The little middle lady in white is Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, the President of the Philippines. Surrounding her is our table. We didn't know who they were and we look like a weird anti-social family. At first it was sad not to sit next to old friends BUT… we were the first table that the President took pictures with. Which was lucky b/c the latter ones were jam packed with people.

Photo 3: Less than half of the banquet area. Very nice ambiance.

Photo 1: Banner behind the podium. “For Democracy and World Harmony”

Photo 2: Camera Man! That's how you could see her on TFC! lol However, he really does look like a Camera-Man… He has a camera for a head! lol

Photo 3: “Proudly Filipino” Sticker that was already at our place setting along with a picture of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Barack Obama.

Gloria Macapagal Arroyo… need I say more?

Photo 1: My Uncle Henry… he invited us to this event. He gave a speech at the beginning

Photo 2: Then later took a picture with his Mare (my mom) and me.

Photo 1: Momma with the hibiscus above her ear. She saw the photo and laughed b/c she said she looked like she has stiff neck! lol

Photo 2: At cocktail hour, me and my dad took a photo in front of the Filipino Medical Mission Singing Group. Notice Pacquiao's adidas jacket. Mom and Dad made me wear it (or in this case hold it) to represent my Filipino Pride.

Photo 3: Mom took a photo of me next to the Hibiscus. That's one of her favorite flowers.
