We are celebrating big time because a job found Steve in this economy. He already had a job, but in February he would have had to travel across the country. A lot. He would have been home one weekend every three weeks, for a total of 36 days out of the year.
The new job will mean working some weekends, but he will be home every night. It meant a pay cut but it's not even worth a second thought. I've been calling him “Aqua Man,” the superhero I get to see!
Today was Steve's second day, and they assigned him a company car. No surprise, as they mentioned that during the interviews. A new compact SUV - big surprise! I took the pics tonight because it is the only night it will have just 62 miles on it.
