watching the flowers grow

Chopin's Prelude tulips [] planted last autumn in front of the Chopin’s monument in Łazienki Park in Warsaw, a gift of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This particular breed was created by Jan Ligthart over the period of 20 years and dedicated to Fryderyk Chopin.

I accumulated this series of photographs during my frequent visits to Łazienki Park and thought that they looked interesting when put together, marking the passage of time.
Besides, what is more relaxing, not to say meditative, than watching plants grow?

J'aime bien ce reportage. Quel suspens ! ... ;) Qui se termine avec l'indifférence des deux joggers sur l'avant dernier cliché... et le rose délicat made in Nederland.
