The other day I hopped on another plane and flew to China. I'll probably be here for the next 2-3 years. I often say I love an adventure and oh my is this going to be a crazy one. That's ok. Unless the word boyfriend or girlfriend follows crazy is good for me.
My family have always been supportive of me working all over the world. I miss them a lot, I always do. But it's 2018 and staying in contact is pretty easy. It's not the same as being there but it's ok. As long as you have internet access these days everyone is a few phone taps away.
I'll miss Australia. It will always be home. One day I'll get in a van with a bed and a fridge in the back and do a real lap around the country. I've seen a lot but it's not enough.
I'll miss Sydney. I haven't lived there in a while & I really tried to get back there but fate sent me north about 11 hours. I'll miss the bridge, the harbour and the opera house. When people think of Australia they are the icons they think of. No offence to the other great cities in Australia but in all my travels, when people ask me about Australia, they all know the big three in the centre of Sydney.
I journeyed up to Sydney 4 times whilst I was back to shoot photos from different places around the harbour. I'll post the others another time, but these were taken from northside of the harbour. The city comes alive visually at night. The Harbour has done its work and puts on its finest for everyone to see and enjoy. It's never let me down.
So I intend to love every second I spend in China. I'll get lots of photos and have great experiences that will last a life time and hopefully more.
But I'll miss this.
