Like the dried seafood shops on Des Voeux Road, this place is surrounded by a seriously interesting smell. Hanging up inside are dried fish swim bladders (maw) - HKD$10,000 a pop, 'more lucrative than cocaine', and apparently very rich in collagen. Everything else is edible, they claim...

... and this cage of live frogs. The fat around their fallopian tubes (!) is dried to become an ingredient called hasma, which is then re-soaked and used in puddings or main courses. Apparently it goes well with red dates and pears - so there you go.
