Pararge aegeria aka Speckled Wood


These are so easy but shy butterflies to me! They let me get close, but it is hard to let their wings open!

Ted, here are some males to your ladies! I’ve decided to Take pictures of them Right today.

      Very nice set Rick , The shallow depth make the whole images very nice.. Very nice Bokeh...love that flash flare non the last image..

      Not glamourous on the underside of their wings but pretty when fully exposed.

      Ricky, every day you post lovely shots of different little creatures. I think like Milton....you couldn't get these shots and poses from the creatures without them sensing your gentle spirit, that you admire them and mean them no harm....
