[Acronicta rumicis – Knot Grass (caterpillar). Guadarrama Mountains, Rascafria - Madrid]

I was walking with my Husband on the mountains Looking for beautiful butterflies that could apparently be flying in this time of the year, when I suddenly looked to this beautiful caterpillar. I Went closer and I saw it eating!
It is really Rare in Spain find this kind of caterpillars so I couldn’t miss this opportunity, even if my husband was stuck in a tree or something.

I'm a bit afraid about the changing weather… Where I live the weather has been too much warm untill November, and I'm starting to believe that Spring will come late. What will I do if all the caterpillars die with the snow and there will be no butterflies???

Thanks Ruth [photoblog.com] and Ted [photoblog.com]for making ITSO about me !
Ted Tomorrow's your turn ;) Be aware!
