99. Spinning Top

This was one of my toys from my childhood! Today I found it and decided to take some shots of it spinning! I got the results I was wishing!

Today was too hot to have a walk. I'm still getting ‘'ready’' to the hot again. :P
24ºC is just good! hope it keeps like that!wo-wo!

Também gostei sempre muito de brincar com piões e este me fez lembrar a minha infância! :))

That's really good. According to me, #2 is the best : the colours are great and you made a good use of the depth of field.

ha ha ! i remember this when i was in grade school , i used to make my own top , cut a rounded branch of a tree and drive a big nail on it , then i slowly and patiently shape it..thanks a lot for sharing !

Wow - terrific action shots Ricky. When I saw #3 as a thumbnail, I thought that it was the same type of snail that Kozuka had posted today ;-)

Good idea and I like the results. This would be a great submission for Ted's "light, camera, action" Gallery of Light!

Love the third shot with the top leaning slightly over. I can imagine how a shot like this would look with the top leaning even further over. It would appear to defy gravity!

Interesting capture. And hope the air at your place will be fine as your wish too.

Brilliant, that's brought back some childhood memories for me too. Love the first and third shots.
