Podarcis muralis aka European Wall lizard

With the last warm sun rays, these fellows on the afternoon ‘'capture’' the last sun rays to keep them warm before the hibernation.

      Cute little critters, but they'd probably scare me all the time if they went scampering about, so I guess it's good that they don't live here.

      Is it a lizard? We have salamanders but nothing ike this. Interesting captures.

      To be honest, I am so scared of this type of creatures, especially snakes. Anyway, this shot is superb!!!
