1#, 2#, 3# - Syritta pipiens aka Thick-legged Hoverfly
4#, 5# - Episyrphus balteatus Aka Marmalade hoverfly
It is not very sunny these days over here, just cold. So that means a lot of wildlife dies or goes to sleep (called hibernation). But there are still some of them in the air. The marmalade hoverfly that I've captures here must be dizzy, because if rain starts it will certainly die, and there are not big flowers to it feed. but the little one, that one can survive and we can see them during the winter sometimes. Now only the small survive, because the flowers that last are small, very small.
