What in the world happened to Rob (blackhawk1552)? Part. I

by Ricardo December. 16, 2010 4343 views

9. Do you feel sometimes you go crazy editing and editing?

I don't remember I did but just to lessen my burden on editing I make sure I have the right basic composition on the frame with exact light and focusing. As a Techie person, I love editing as much as I love photography!

10. Have you ever edited a photo and saved the changes in the original picture?

That's the lesson I was showing my friends and visitor's on my blog never, never save anything that will destroy your original image. The rules of the thumb is not 2 images are the same! I always used non-destructive editing process. Ever since I always do that!

11. Are there a lot of virgins in the Virgin Islands?
I don't think so, it’s the same as many as anywhere else!
Probably the one that discover that island was at sea for years and years when they discover that uninhabited island they just imagine lot's of young girls without men except them! Ha ha!

12. We know (probably), your family knows you are a Photoblog member, did someone of them ever tell you ‘'WHAT? Are you doing these things again TO PHOTOBLOG?’'?
I think I was the only one on our family with images posted on Photoblog. My brother was into a more professional sites. So no comments coming from him!

What in the world happened to Rob (blackhawk1552)? Part. II [photoblog.com]

Welcome one more Thursday to this crazy section, Please don’t be scared, soon probably you’ll be the victim(evil laughs) . This time we have the pleasure to share with you our interview with Rob (blackhawk1552). Have fun and leave your comments, suggestions or whatever below.

1. Well, Rob… You are from the Philippines. What do you miss the most of your country?

Well I miss a lot, I mean a lot, my life style I live in a laid back town, my friends, our Farm, our ancestral home. The place is actually paradise, you can witness the sunset on our 7.176 islands, just image that! 7.176 sunsets and sunrises! With different cultures and diverse wild life! So if you get bored on one island, you have still a thousand more to explore! Some says that when god created my country he was so thrilled and so happy with the result he made 7 thousands more for us to enjoy its beauty!

2. Does Philippines has something related to Filipinos (http://www.seriezeta.com/lavozdegamonal/wp-content/uploads/Image/varios/filipinos.jpg)? [seriezeta.com]

I don't think it has some relation to that candy bar except I tell a little secrets, Filipinos are sweet! But when you say I'm a filipino be sure you know how to cook Pork Adobo, Pancit (Noodles with seafood and meat) and Lumpia (fried roll with shrimps, pork or beef and mung beans sprout stuffings).

3. Is life very different in the States? What was the thing you find oddest when you moved to California?

The weather, I migrated in California's coldest place, Bay Area! Just imagine I just came from a temperate country! The culture! I really experience a culture shock! Ha ha!

4. We all are on Photoblog to share our pictures with the world, We are sure you have some funny stories about when you were taking a picture of something. Can you tell us that story?
It does not happen yet I know it will! Ha ha!

5. Crime doesn't pay… does that mean my job is a crime?
I don't know but since 911 happens taking pictures of some sites are restricted and its a crime if you take some pictures! Arghhh! I can't believe that! Even taking pictures of bridge in some part of California like where I live is prohibited!

6. What can you tell us about your motorcycle? You look very cool here:

It's pretty cool Bike not much of a mean machine since it's only 250cc, but hey! Bike is a bike and I love it!

7. Could you share with us how many times you visit Photoblog per day? And how long you spend?

I admit after overtime I visited Photoblog seldom, spend lesser as time goes by. I was expecting that they will fix the whole blog, I really don't like the small picture display we are having right now, how they set it on a vertical format, your image would suffer a lot or slicing it to compensate the format…

8. You love editing and post processing, and many of your works are fabulous like this: https://www.photoblog.com/blackhawk1552/2010/02/08/earthbound-dreaming-on-distant-shore.html. [photoblog.com] How much time do you spend creating these works of art?

Basically an hour. I used every switches in Photoshop I can use, I export the image to its add on tool's /software before importing back to PS for final touch up, if I really like the image to be perfectly set ? hour is not much of a time.
