Hosmer Lake Paddle

There are lots of beautiful lakes in the cascade mountains. Hosmer Lake is a great place to paddle, with mountains views, song birds, and wild life, we watched three otters swimming and diving. The lake is filled with reeds and lily pads. The paddle starts off a small dock down a narrow channel.

This leads to larger channels and reveals the mountain views.

As the lake opens up the larger views of the mountains take the forefront!

The paddle crosses the Upper Lake, Hosmer is sort of bar-bell shaped, and leads to a small creek.

You can paddle up the creek. fortunately kayaks can slide over shallow water.

After about 1/2 mile the paddle ends at a small falls. Time for a break. The return trip to the camp site is a quick one!

Mt Bachelor , the Lake is in there somewhere!
