My Week One Photo Sessions

In my week one with the DSLR Camera i had to create a range of images whilst changing the shutter speed and the aperture diameter within the camera to create both bright and dark photographs.

These photographs had an automatic aperture and shutter speed therefore making them all have balanced lighting within the setting for the image.

For the first photo i found the settings automatic for a reasonably lit photo. For the second image to create a dimly lit photograph , I increased the shutter speed causing less light to be received and therefore darkening the image. I also used a narrow aperture which allowed less light through over the period of time in the photo being took. For the brightly lit photograph the opposite was used. The shutter speed was increased and the aperture was wide. In the future my photographs need to be steady and straight with perhaps the AI focusing used to help stabilise the photo with moving objects such as walking people.

This image was used with the same method as the walking images to change how light enters the camera to change the light within the photograph.
