On Keeping Winter

Winter is come in earnest and the snow
In dazzling splendour…
Spreads a white world
All calm…
Fancy's pliant eye delighted sees a vast romance displayed.

Beautiful photos. I love watching birds in winter. The leaves don't get in the way. I can't believe it's snowing again!

I LOVE Cedar Wax Wings, one of my favorite birds. They make such a lovely sound and they are so cute how they hang around in huge groups. I get them in the spring in my berry tree out front, they don't stay here in the winter.
