Ashes

I have at last emerged from a long period of creative block. Basically I could find nothing I felt like photographing. So I started "googling" all sorts of images and decided to focus on non-representational landscapes for a while. My husband was less then admiring of this one, so I'm prepared for rejection, but at least I'm doing something!

Sorry to say your husband doesn't know a good picture when he sees one smiley It's like being underwater

I really like it. It is like the memory of a fleeting moment in a dream.

It is creative and beautiful. I find anything that prompts my imagination to be a worthy photo.
How did you introduce blur to this image, was it from camera panning?

Thank you. I have been researching tilt shift lenses and selective focus but I haven't achieved much yet. This is an old photo of the aftermath of recent fires which I blurred selectively in Photoshop. Definitely a work in progress.
