I took my camera out to the playground today, which is something I rarely do. I didn't get any good shots of the kids, much to their dismay. However, the weather was so nice with a wonderful breeze…I did get these few.

It's been a long day, so I am cutting it short. Hope you all enjoyed your Friday.

This is the old part of our playground at school. There is a big new part on the other side, but this side reminds me of my first years teaching. I have a little bit of a soft spot for it.

The playground equipment these days is sure a lot different from what I grew up with on playgrounds. I think see-saws and those round things you spun on (what were those called?) are banned now. But your first shot looks kind of like the old fashioned slides. I like it at any rate...old or new. And speaking of trees...do kids still climb them?

I love how you shot the slide...I miss those old metal slides!! The new leaves on the tree are beautiful - makes me wish we were closer to spring - fun to see that someone has that wonderful burst of color!

Awesome set! I love how colorful the playground is. Great angle on the first shot. I also like the contrast in the 2nd and 3rd. I'm pretty jealous of that beautiful blue sky!

Is that an old metal Slide?
I remember those from my childhood.
      Terrific angles :-)

Great shot of the slide. The angle and composition of the last shot is really cool! I can just hear the kids yelling and playing.
