Days 61-69: Trips Out!

Over the past week, I have managed to make my way through several exploring expeditions. At the weekend, I explored several museums (such as Musée D'Orsay), churches (La Madeleine) and the Arc De Triomphe with some friends. We were particularly impressed at our trip to the Arc de Triomphe as we happened across the rehearsal for Tuesday's 11th November Memorial Service, which was really interesting to watch.

Tuesday itself, I actually spent in Disneyland with a friend, which was great fun and gave me mega excitement for Christmas, as everything is now set up for a Winter Wonderland, including plenty of snow!

Amongst exams, I met up with another friend during the week and headed to the cinema, seeing Gone Girl, which was ever so slightly odd a film if you haven't seen it!

Friday afternoon, I headed east to Strasbourg to spend the weekend with a family friend (who is actually French) and probably spoke more french than I have in the whole time that I've been here. This afternoon, I even managed to try an Alsatian speciality called “Tarte Flambée” which was absolutely delicious! Strasbourg is a really beautiful city if you ever get the chance to go, and I had a lovely weekend there with my friend.
