Took a walk today in Gilbert Run, I've walked around the lake dozens of times, and photographed it quite often. But, when I first started walking I saw a carving and on a whim decided to photograph the love notes on the trees… there were many many many… I wondered what motivated some of the spots they selected, and wondered about the love stories behind them…first loves, last loves, good & bad relationships…

Happy Valentine's Day to my pb friends!

I saw this cloud formation today and had to add it to this post. This is really how it was, I didn't do any photoshop or move any parts of it, etc. Couldn't resist :)

John climbed pretty high up this tree to carve his love for Alice…

A closer view

JBQ was out there on the edge…

Oh, my gosh, I love these Paula - a lasting remembrance of love! I ran a similar one last year called "Carved in Wood" - I'm a sucker for these kinds of shots! Well done!
