Panning My Literary Spectre

by Derk Steenblik March. 14, 2017 880 views

Shot this image as part of an exercise for one of my photography classes when we were working on panning.  I attached a Halloween decoration to my ceiling fan in our library and then started on "continuous shoot".  It was difficult to capture a clear image as the tails of the spectre were so light in weight.  I actually got a bit dizzy trying to get this image with books in the background and at the same time avoid windows and furniture lamps and assorted other details.

At first look I really wondered "Oh my God, that's a GHOST!!"
Took a closer look and saw the fun part. I like how scary it makes me feel.
Believe it or not even though I don't have any personal experiences, but I'm still damn scared of ghosts !!
will I be able to sleep today??

Thanks Shimna - it was not my intent to scare anyone. I sure hope you are able to sleep tonight.

I'm sure scared of ghosts something I'm not even sure if it exists or not.
But I thinks yours was a lucky ghost for me. I slept perfectly well and didn't even wake up in the middle of the night :)
